Create Your Dream Life Vision Board Workshop

What is a vision board?  It’s a simple, yet powerful visualization tool that manifests your dreams into reality by activating the Law of Attraction.  When you make a vision board, you get clear on what you want to create in your life.  Once you get clarity, you select images and words from magazines and paste them on a big poster board.  Seeing this board each day aligns your brain with the outcomes you most want to attract!  This workshop and retreat is an evening to focus on your authentic life, core clarity and ideal outcomes.  It’s a really fun and relaxing afternoon retreat of cultivating your dreams and connecting with other women!

When: Tue, Oct 9

Time: 5:30-8:30p

Cost: $40, covers supplies and class

Where: High School Media Center

Instructor: Sherri Swanson, certified Health and Life Coach

This workshop is for women who want to embrace their inner beauty and strength by discovering their dreams, goals and passions and putting images to those desires on a vision board in order to manifest them!  Leave the kiddos at home and come for a time of relaxation, socializing, connecting to other women and to have some FUN!  This evening is all about YOU!

Dress comfortably as there will be some deep breathing exercises, light yoga and stretching during the first part of the class to fully get into our creative spaces before the vision board making begins!  You may even bring a yoga mat if you wish!  Infused water will be provided.  Stay until the end for a BONUS GIFT!

Barn quilts have a relatively recent history in American agricultural communities. A nod to the contributions of women in agriculture, they are also a way to bring what is traditionally an “inside” folk art (traditional quilting) and giving it a more permanent and public display for people to enjoy.
This class will cover the history of barn quilts and all techniques needed to paint your own barn quilt. In class you will be designing a quilt, graphing it out on a 24″X24″ “quilt square”, and then painting it. You will leave class with a quilt square that will be ready to hang. There will be very little lecture after the initial introduction to barn quilts, and most of the class will be hands-on with support from the instructor.

When: Thur, Oct 5

Time: 5-9p

Where: High School Art Room
