Internal / External Positions:

  • Special Education Paraprofessional Substitutes

– One Long-Term Substitute beginning 4/1/19 for approximately 8 weeks at the high school

– One Long-term substitute beginning 3/20/19 through approximately 5/3/19 at the elementary school

– Ongoing Short-Term Substitutes at both the elementary and high school

Assist special education teachers by providing assistance as directed to students on IEPs, including help with assignments, use of equipment, and personal care needs, and helping teachers with clerical tasks as needed. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Pay is $12.50/hour. To apply for the short-term positions, come to the District Office located in the Barnum High School, 3675 County Road 13, Barnum, MN  55707 to complete new hire paperwork. Bring driver’s license, social security card, bank deposit information, and $7 for a background check. You can print off and complete a non-certified staff application (found above) prior to your visit or complete it in the office.

  • Math Corp Tutors at Barnum Elementary, 2018-2019 School Year

    Tutors come from many backgrounds and include recent high school and college grads, career changers, stay-at- home parents, and retirees. With training, support from onsite coaches, and evidence-based strategies, Math Corps tutors are well-equipped to change lives. No previous teaching experience necessary! Tutors earn a living allowance, education award to repay student loans or pay tuition, and federal student loan forbearance. Tutors may be eligible for health insurance and child care assistance.
