Internal / External Positions:

  • Special Education Paraprofessionals

    Assist special education teachers by providing assistance as directed to students on IEPs, including help with assignments, use of equipment, and personal care needs. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.   • Reading Corps Literacy Tutors,  Grades K-3 (1 Position) & Community Ed School Readiness (3 Positions)

    Help our kids become successful readers and learners. Barnum Elementary is looking for one K-3 Literacy Tutor, and Barnum Community Education is looking for one full-time, one part-time, and one quarter-time Literacy Tutors.  You will work one-on-one or in small groups with students during school hours throughout the school year beginning fall of 2019. No matter if you’re a recent grad, career changer, stay-at-home parent or retiree, you can make a great tutor. No experience? No problem. Minnesota Reading Corps provides comprehensive training in strategies proven to help students learn, so tutors are well-equipped to help students grow. As a tutor you will receive a stipend every two weeks, earn up to $4,200 for college tuition or student loans. Tutors 55 and older may gift the award to their child, grandchild, stepchild or foster child. Free health insurance and child care assistance is available for those who qualify.   • Math Corps Tutor, Grades 3-6
