• Bomber Club Assistant Teacher, Part-time

We’re looking for a team player, who enjoys kids, to supervise and engage our elementary aged youth (K-6), who are enrolled in Bomber Club, in fun and educational activities after school. We are in particular need of a quality person for the afternoon hours which are typically 2:30 -6:00 p.m., with some variation, on Mondays through Fridays when school is in session. • Special Education Paraprofessional

We’re looking for a team player who enjoys kids, learning and helping others. Responsibilities include assisting special education teachers by providing extra assistance as directed to students on IEPs, including helping students with assignments, use of equipment, and personal care needs. This position is 7 hours a day on student contact days when school is in session, as well as a few training days each year. We are looking for a dependable, organized and self-motivated individual with strong communication skills to be responsible for managing the overall operations of the district’s concession stands and gym/field banner advertising program. • Native American Student Program Coordinator (Part-time)

We are seeking a culturally knowledgeable and passionate individual, who is dependable, organized and self-motivated, with strong communication skills, to support our elementary (K-6) Native American student population. This part-time position will focus on planning and facilitating meaningful cultural activities and learning experiences that celebrate Native American heritage and language, and providing tutoring support. • Substitute Teachers

Fill in for a classroom teacher following their sub plan. Must have a valid MN teaching license or a Short Call Substitute Teacher license (requires a 4-year degree – click Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board for more info).

• Substitute Special Education Paraprofessionals

Responsible for assisting special education teachers by providing extra assistance as directed to students on IEPs, including helping students with assignments, use of equipment, and personal care needs. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent plus either 2 years of higher education or have passed a para pro exam.

• Substitute Bus / Van Drivers

For morning and / or afternoon bus routes and / or drive for extra-curricular and field trips. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a CDL license with bus endorsement. If you aren’t licensed and are interested in driving, we will help you through the licensing process.

• Substitute Food Service Workers

Assist cooks in the preparation and serving of food as needed. Wash dishes and equipment used for preparing, serving, and eating school breakfasts and lunches. High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Substitute Housekeepers

Fill in for regular staff days off to ensure continuing of general cleaning of school property and other related duties as assigned by the Head Custodian.

• Early Childhood Substitute Teacher

Substitute as a teacher or teacher assistant in the early childhood classrooms in our elementary building. Must have a minimum of a 2-year degree.

For all substitute positions, stop in at the District office to apply or call 218-389-6978 x1001 with questions. The process includes new hire paperwork and some online training, and will take approximately one hour. Bring with you your application, driver's license and social security card, bank routing and account number (for direct deposit payment) and $22.50 for a background check. Background checks are required for all positions. Employment is dependent upon passing the background check.
