Food Service Information for the 2023-2024 School Year
Free Meals for All Students:
Thanks to State funding, all students K-12 are eligible for free breakfast and lunch each school day they are in attendance. A requirement of receiving free meals is that students must take a reimbursable meal, meaning taking from the offerings at least three (3) items representing three (3) different food groups, one of which must be a fruit or vegetable. Summer 2024 Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) Information
Students who were directly certified this school year through SNAP, MFIP, FDPIR or Medicaid (based on income), are eligible for summer benefits of $40 per eligible child, per month. No action is needed to receive benefits. If parents already have an EBT card, money will be added to it. If you haven’t yet received an EBT card, it will be mailed to you. The date of benefits disbursement has yet to be determined.

If parents believe their children could be eligible based on income but have not completed a 2023-24 Application for Educational Benefits, you can still qualify by completing an application (found below) and submitting it to the district office by the end of the school year. If it is approved, your children will receive the summer benefits.
